Collaborate with Your Team

FrameAI Studio workspaces let structural engineering teams share projects, review results, and track changes across a job lifecycle.

Creating a workspace

Studio subscribers can create a workspace from **Settings → Team → Create workspace**.

Give it a name (e.g., "AEC Projects Q2" or "Brussels Office"), then invite teammates.

Roles and permissions

RoleCan do
**Owner**All actions, billing, delete workspace
**Admin**Invite/remove members, manage projects
**Engineer**Upload jobs, run calculations, export results
**Viewer**Read-only access to jobs and exports
Role assignments are visible in
**Settings → Team**.

Inviting a teammate

1. Go to **Settings → Team**
2. Click
**Invite member**
3. Enter their email address
4. Select a role
5. Click
**Send invitation**

They'll receive an email with a link to join. The link expires in 72 hours.

Sharing a specific job

Not all teammates need access to every job. To share a single job:

1. Open the job
2. Click
**Share** in the top bar
3. Copy the shareable link or enter their email directly

Job shares are read-only by default. You can set an expiry date and a maximum number of views.

Tracking revisions

Every time a job is re-processed (from a new PDF upload or a manual override), FrameAI creates a revision. The revision history shows:

  • Who triggered the revision
  • What changed (extracted members, calculated values, overrides)
  • When it happened
Access the revision history from the job sidebar →
**Revisions**.

Comments

Engineers and viewers can leave comments on individual results. Comments are threaded and support @mentions of teammates.

Transferring ownership

If the workspace owner leaves the company, an admin can transfer ownership:

**Settings → Team → Transfer ownership** → select a new owner.

This cannot be undone — verify the new owner's email before confirming.
